[CLOSED] Multiple Platform Engineers - Permanent - Remote

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for multiple mid- and senior-level platform engineers to work with a company with a strong presence in over 10 countries in Europe and beyond.

As usual, applicants must be well disciplined to work remotely on an ongoing basis and may be located anywhere in England. The company has a central office in Surrey, where occasional visits and team meetings will be required from time to time.

The company is in the insurance and telematics industry, collecting and analysing billions of miles of driving data from millions of black boxes and devices. They provide services such as risk scoring, eco-driving assessment, fleet management, risk routing, and more to organisations around the world.

You will be more likely to be successful in this position if many of the following apply:

• You have experience developing applications with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot
• You have experience developing applications with python
• You have knowledge or experience developing applications with serverless technologies
• You have knowledge or experience packaging applications with docker
• You understand and can write appropriate tests at different levels (unit tests, integrations tests, etc)
• You know how to write, maintain, and improve good documentation
• You have an understanding of AWS infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• You have an interest in applying security and governance best practices

Applicants should anticipate video calls and use of remote collaboration tools during the interview process and, if successful, part of day-to-day activities.

The company is able to offer a competitive salary between 45-75k, depending on experience, alongside generous pension contributions, holiday allowance and other perks.
