[CLOSED] DevOps Engineer - Contractor - Remote

We are recruiting for a devops engineer to work alongside an existing team to help grow the company and service offerings across an international audience. Applicants must be well disciplined to work remotely on an ongoing basis.

This role is suitable for a mid-level or senior candidate with previous hands-on experience with devops, automation, networking and managing multiple tasks in parallel.

You will be successful in this position if you:

• Take ownership of day-to-day ops, devops and security tasks
• Develop and improve automation tooling
• Participate in the team's solution planning
• Apply and stay up to date with industry best practices
• Write, maintain and improve documentation
• Have hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, terraform, ansible, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Have a strong understanding of networking including VPNs, VLANs, routers, firewalls, loadbalancers, and how they apply in a cloud environment
• Have understanding managing dockerised applications and deployments (with Docker Swarm or Kubernetes)
• A focus on security and governance

The daily rate for this role is negotiable based on experience.
