We seek multiple Platform Engineers to join a fast-paced team creating, maintaining and improving systems and services used by Toyota and Lexus organisations worldwide.

Our client projects include developing and deploying services for crash detection, crash classification, driver scoring, risk predictions, fleet optimisation, eco-driving analysis, vehicle residual value calculations and more.

As a Platform Engineer, you will be part of a team working with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Engineers to build innovative and impactful products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
  • Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the software meets their needs
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices and design patterns
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise
  • Implement automated tests and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure the quality and reliability of the software
  • Ensure that the software is scalable, reliable, and maintainable
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java/Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript and any popular frameworks
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis or MongoDB
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles such as object-oriented programming, design patterns, and agile development
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with software development tools such as GitLab or JIRA.
  • Experience using source control (git)
  • Willingness to work with remote collaboration tools, including Slack, Google Apps, and GitLab
  • Passion for technology and willingness to learn new things

Rates are negotiable based on experience.
