[CLOSED] DevOps Engineer - Permanent - Remote/Hybrid
On behalf of our client, we week a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced team in managing and expanding infrastructure and services around the world.
As part of the mobility industry, our client is a leading expert in driving behaviour analysis, fraud assessments, claims and pricing predictions, eco-driving analysis and mobile applications. Our client continues to process billions of miles of driving data to stay at the forefront of machine learning, analytics and data services.
The role will work closely with colleagues across several different disciplines to deploy and manage infrastructure and resources enabling the company to deliver services to end users. Mostly hosted in AWS, this includes users, roles, security groups, VPC networks, EKS workloads and VPN connectivity. It also includes internal security considerations, some projects with other cloud providers and integrations with third parties like New Relic.
As part of an Agile team, the workload is varied and interesting with a supportive team and culture at your side.
The successful candidate will be able to work fully remotely. However, it is encouraged to come into the offices in Epsom from to time and mandatory for occasional meetings. We encourage you to apply for this role if you live anywhere in England.
You will be most likely to be successful in this position if you:
- Have extensive experience and knowledge with AWS
- Have experience managing EKS clusters and workloads (e.g. with Helm)
- Have experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform and Ansible
- Have experience working with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
- Have experience with Git systems and CI/CD (ideally GitLab)
- Are proactive and driven, with a keen attitude to learn and grow with the team
- Enjoy paying attention to details
- Are a great communicator in a diverse team
- Enjoy writing, reading, maintaining and improving internal documentation
