[CLOSED] Data Analytics Team Lead - Permanent - Hybrid/Surrey
On behalf of our client, we seek a Data Analytics Team Lead to manage the Data Analytics team in the analysis of the platform, BI/MI reporting, and wider data and supporting functions.
As part of the mobility industry, our client is a leading expert in driving behaviour analysis, fraud assessments, claims and pricing predictions, eco-driving analysis and mobile applications. Our client continues to process billions of miles of driving data to stay at the forefront of machine learning, analytics and data services.
The successful candidate will be able to work in a hybrid manner, adhering to Group policies. Employees are required to attend eight office days per month in Epsom, Surrey. However, we encourage you to apply for this role if you live anywhere in England.
Responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day management of analytics activities, ensuring reporting, KPIs and data exploration projects are delivered on time, according to scope and requirements
- Strategic responsibilities with regards to the direction of the team and the creation of useful insights and assessments regarding tools and technologies
- Developing the team and being the key contact for other teams when developing cross-team projects and products
- Managing the creation and production of business and internal reports for operational and data quality purposes
- Defining the roadmap of the analytics function, with input from stakeholders
- Supporting the business by providing relevant data insights through BI/MIs, data mining or other analytical functionalities
You will be most likely to be successful in this position if you:
- Have extensive experience with BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Have advanced skills with SQL with pivots, partition functions and query optimisation
- Have strong experience with python
- Ideally, have experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, etc.)
- Have experience creating business-level reports, often graphical
- Have experience with modern software engineering with CI/CD, testing, version control, etc
- Are proactive and driven, with a keen attitude to learn and grow with the team
- Enjoy paying attention to details
- Are a great communicator in a diverse team
